About This Access Site
Elm Point is a day-use boat ramp facility located on the east shore of Eufaula Lake's South Arm, near McAlester in Pittsburg County. The site features a single-lane paved ramp, a courtesy dock, and paved parking—making it a convenient access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. An on-site picnic shelter is also available for visitors.

Eufaula Lake is a large reservoir with over 800 miles of shoreline and 105,000 surface acres of water, offering ample space for paddling and boating activities. To reach Elm Point from the north, take Highway 39 to Highway 22 west to the park entrance. Use of the facility requires an Activity Pass, which can be reserved through Recreation.gov. This makes Elm Point a reliable, well-maintained option for launching into the lake's calm waters.
