About This Access Site
The Emeryville boat ramp provides convenient access to the San Francisco Bay's East Bay region. This cement boat ramp features a high-freeboard dock, making it suitable for launching small to medium-sized boats, kayaks, and canoes. The ramp is located within the Emeryville Marina, offering direct access to the central San Francisco Bay.

The ramp is open year-round and free to use. It is a single-lane ramp that is 15 feet wide with a gradual slope, allowing for easy launching and retrieval of watercraft. Paddlers and boaters can explore the nearby Oakland Inner Harbor, as well as access the greater San Francisco Bay from this launch site.

While there are no on-site camping facilities, there are several nearby campgrounds within 10 miles, including the Rob Hill Group Campground, Rob Hill Campground, and Kirby Cove Campground, all of which are reservable. The Emeryville boat ramp is also conveniently located near the John Muir National Historic Site and the Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, offering additional opportunities for outdoor recreation and exploration.
