About This Access Site
The Enid Lake boat ramp provides access to the Yocona River and Enid Lake in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. This is a popular destination for kayakers, canoeists, and power boaters looking to enjoy the abundant fishing and scenic natural surroundings.

The boat ramp is located at the Persimmon Hill Campground, a reservable federal recreation area managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Amenities at the campground include picnic areas, a beach, and an accessible comfort station. A $5 per vehicle fee is required to use the boat ramp.

Enid Lake is part of a dam project on the Yocona River and water levels can fluctuate significantly throughout the year. Boaters should check the current water conditions before launching, as some ramps may be unusable during low-water periods.
