ERN-JOYS Boat Launch

Ern-Joys provides public boat access to Green Bay on Lake Michigan near Brussels in Door County. The facility features five launch ramps with varying surfaces—blacktop, concrete panels, and natural lake bottom transitions—offering options for different vessel types and water conditions. With 40 vehicle/trailer parking spaces (including two ADA-accessible spots), the site can accommodate moderate boat traffic, making it a practical option for kayakers, canoeists, and larger watercraft.

Boaters should note that while the parking area includes accessible spaces, the transitions from the parking area to boarding docks are not ADA accessible. This is a functional launch point for accessing Green Bay's waters, though paddlers may want to scout conditions before launching given the varied ramp surfaces. As part of Green Bay on Lake Michigan, expect larger water conditions and plan accordingly for weather and wind exposure.
