Eureka Reservoir

Eureka Reservoir is a state fishing access site in northwest Montana near Miller Colony, offering a single-lane boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site features established facilities including toilets, picnic areas, and an accessible fishing pier. A 14-day stay limit applies for camping. Several paths connect the campground to the beach and boat ramp areas, with overflow parking available.

**Access & Conditions:** Located approximately 4 miles east of Fort McCoy on the north side of County Route 316, the ramp provides reliable water access year-round. Note that Eureka Reservoir is drawn down annually for management purposes, which may affect water levels and fishing conditions seasonally. Paddlers should plan accordingly and check current conditions before visiting, particularly during late summer or fall drawdown periods.
