The State Route 310 Bridge access point provides direct entry to the Monongahela River in Fairmont, Marion County. This site offers a convenient launch location for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters looking to paddle the scenic Opekiska Pool section of the river, which winds through the West Virginia mountains. The access is located at coordinates 39.48150541, -80.14044834 in downtown Fairmont, where the West Fork and Tygart Rivers converge to form the Monongahela.

Paddlers have several nearby options for day trips and scenic floats in the area. The popular Palatine Park access point is nearby and offers a concrete boat ramp with a 50-foot transient dock, parking, and picnic facilities. For longer paddles, Prickett's Fort State Park to the north provides another established access point.
