About This Access Site
Located at 5 Water St in Fairport Harbor, this Lake Erie access point offers excellent facilities for paddlers and boaters of all types. The launch features four boat ramp lanes, a dedicated jet-ski launch, and a fishing pier, making it well-suited for kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels. The sheltered harbor created by the west breakwater wall provides calm conditions ideal for paddling and is a popular spot for launching paddleboard trips.

This facility serves as a gateway to Lake Erie fishing opportunities, particularly for walleye, perch, and steelhead trout. The port authority also offers transient dockage for those looking to overnight on their vessel. As of 2019, single launch fees were $12. For paddlers, the protected harbor conditions make this an excellent starting point for exploring the shoreline and offshore waters. For more current information on fees, hours, or services, contact the Fairport Harbor Port Authority at the launch location.
