About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Fawn Lake is a 17-20 acre lake located in Dell Prairie Township, Adams County, just 15 minutes north of Wisconsin Dells. Public boat ramp access is available on the northeastern corner of the lake off Big St. Germain Drive, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats.

**Lake Characteristics:** With a maximum depth of 14.1 feet, Fawn Lake offers calm, protected paddling conditions suitable for beginners and families. The lake connects to Trout Creek on its western shore, which flows approximately ¾ mile downstream to the Wisconsin River, providing paddlers with potential for creek exploration. A small tributary creek feeds the lake from the east as well.

**Nearby Options:** If you're looking to expand your paddling experience, the neighboring North and South Turtle Lakes are in close proximity and offer additional boating and paddling opportunities in the area. The proximity to Wisconsin Dells makes this a convenient access point for central Wisconsin water recreation.
