Findley State Park's Main Ramp provides convenient access to Wellington Creek and the park's scenic 93-acre lake. The site features a dedicated boat launch ramp, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and small boaters. The facility is wheelchair accessible and includes picnic tables for day-use visitors. Note that electric motors only are permitted on the lake, making it an excellent destination for quiet paddling.
The park offers additional paddling options with canoe and rowboat rentals available at the marina during the summer season. Two launch ramps total provide good access capacity. The area is well-suited for recreational paddling, and visitors can extend their visit by exploring the scenic loop trail through diverse habitats that begins at the camp check-in building. Before heading out, contact the park or check its website for current hours, any applicable fees, and seasonal rental availability.
