Fisher Tract provides public boat ramp access to the lower Nestucca River near Cloverdale in Tillamook County. The ramp serves as a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and drift boaters looking to explore this 50–100 foot wide river. Bank access throughout the lower Nestucca is limited due to extensive private land ownership, making boat-based access essential for paddlers and anglers. The site works well as both a put-in and take-out location for float trips, with other public ramps nearby at Farmer Creek, Three Rivers, and Pacific City offering alternative launch options.
The surrounding area offers good camping options for multi-day trips, with Castle Rock Group Campground and East Dunes and Sandbeach Campgrounds at nearby Sand Lake Recreation Area all available for reservation. The Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge, located where the Nestucca and Little Nestucca Rivers converge, protects over 1,200 acres of important habitat and is accessible via boat. Plan ahead during steelhead season when the river attracts increased fishing activity and boat traffic.
