Flowing Wells Resort offers a paved, multi-lane boat ramp suitable for vessels up to 20 feet, including deep-keeled sailboats. Located north of Gordonville near Pottsboro in Grayson County, the facility provides convenient access to Lake Texoma with amenities including a fuel dock, mobile pump-outs, courtesy docks, and ample trailer parking. A $5 launch fee applies, and the resort also features 210 covered boat slips for longer-term mooring. Note that some users have reported shallow water access and ramp steepness issues, so launching conditions may vary depending on lake levels.
Lake Texoma is the largest lake by capacity in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Tulsa District and offers excellent recreation opportunities for boating, fishing, and paddling. The adjacent Red River is a major waterway (Stream Order 9) with an average flow of over 68,000 cubic feet per second and an average velocity of nearly 6 feet per second, making it suitable for experienced boaters. The area also provides access to nearby attractions including Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge, established in 1946 as a habitat for migratory birds and native wildlife. Big Mineral Camp is available for camping within 10 miles of the access point.
