**Access Overview**
FM 276 Bridge East provides a one-lane boat ramp for accessing Toledo Bend Reservoir on the Sabine River. Located 4 miles east of Texas Highway 87 in Sabine County, this facility is operated year-round by the Sabine River Authority of Texas and accommodates all boat types. A fee is required to launch. Toledo Bend Reservoir sits on the major Sabine River system, which drains nearly 9,600 square miles and maintains an average flow of over 9,100 cubic feet per second. The reservoir provides calm, sheltered paddling conditions ideal for kayakers and canoeists, in contrast to the river's natural gradient of 0.8 feet per mile. This access point on the northern end of the reservoir offers consistent year-round water levels and is part of a network of 33 public access areas along the Texas shore.
