From Jefferson, take Texas 49 west to FM 729 and follow signs to the access point. The site features a well-maintained 2-lane concrete boat ramp with a courtesy dock for easy passenger loading and unloading, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and other boaters.

**Facilities & Nearby Amenities:** The FM 729 Bridge access area is operated by the Army Corps of Engineers and includes a picnic area with approximately 10 tables, perfect for a pre- or post-paddling meal. While this is a more modest access point compared to larger lake parks, it's an excellent option if you want to avoid crowds. The site provides direct access to Lake O' the Pines, an 18,700-acre reservoir nestled in Northeast Texas's piney woods.
