**Location & Access:** The boat ramp is located at 27100 Chef Menteur Highway in eastern New Orleans, adjacent to the historic Fort Pike structure. The site sits on The Rigolets, a passage connecting Lake Ponchartrain and Lake Saint Catherine. The launch point is visible from the US 90 (Chef Menteur) bridge, making it easy to locate.

**What to Expect:** When open, this was an informal, free launch area suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small boats accessing The Rigolets. Given its proximity to both Lake Ponchartrain and historic Fort Pike, the area offers paddling opportunities in a scenic eastern New Orleans setting.
