**Location & Access:** The Fort Worth Anglers Club provides a two-lane concrete boat ramp on Eagle Mountain Lake's West Fork Trinity River, located just north of Fort Worth in Tarrant County. To reach the site, take Jacksboro Highway north on Boat Club Road to Peden Road, then turn west and follow signs to the marina. Parking is limited to approximately 20 vehicles.
**What to Expect:** Eagle Mountain Lake is a substantial 8,738-acre reservoir with a maximum depth of 47 feet, offering good water access for kayakers, canoeists, and powerboats. The north side of the lake provides quieter paddling opportunities where you can venture upstream into the river channel away from heavier boat traffic. However, be aware that upstream conditions can include steep banks, muddy areas, and occasional log jams—hazards that become more pronounced during high water periods. The West Fork Trinity River system has fish consumption advisories in effect for portions of this area.
**Before You Launch:** Ensure you clean, drain, and dry your boat, trailer, and all gear before leaving the site to prevent the spread of invasive zebra mussels, which is required by law.
