Fourmile Lake offers a public boat ramp and dock facility in Chelsea, making it a convenient access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The ramp is designed for smaller vessels and includes parking for both vehicles and trailers. From the main access area, paddlers can explore the lake's 256-acre surface or reach two backcountry campsites accessible by boat along the shoreline.
The lake is relatively shallow with a maximum depth of 18 feet, making it suitable for recreational paddling and fishing.
