**Location & Access:** Fred Funk is a well-maintained public boat launch located on the north side of Lake Onalaska near Onalaska, Wisconsin, accessible via County Road ZB. This two-lane concrete ramp provides excellent access to Lake Onalaska and the Upper Mississippi River backwaters, with improved parking and amenities following recent renovations.

**What to Expect:** The ramp serves as an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats exploring the scenic Mississippi River Valley between Trempealeau and Dresbach. The Lake Onalaska Protection and Rehabilitation District maintains buoy-marked "travel corridors" cleared of aquatic vegetation, which help paddlers navigate from the boat landing to the main lake body.
