About This Access Site
Located on Old Ferry Road near Morrison in Gasconade County, Fredericksburg Ferry Access provides a boat ramp and camping facilities on the Gasconade River. This 5-acre site offers a primitive camping area, a privy, and disabled accessible facilities, making it a convenient put-in or take-out point for paddlers and boaters exploring this scenic Ozark river. The access is reached via Highway 50, Highway 89, and Route J from Linn—approximately 16-17 miles of driving through rural Missouri.

Fredericksburg Ferry Access is well-suited for multi-day float trips on the Gasconade River. Paddlers undertaking longer expeditions often use this access as part of extended routes, with nearby Hazelgreen Access available upstream. The site's primitive camping option makes it accessible for overnight trips, though amenities are limited. For extended floats continuing downriver, paddlers can continue toward Vienna and beyond, with public take-out facilities available further downstream near the river's mouth.
