Ft. Washington Marina

Located at the end of King Charles Terrace in Fort Washington, Prince George's County, this modern 10-acre marina provides convenient access to Piscataway Creek just off the Potomac River. The facility features two concrete launching ramps, a courtesy dock, and ample parking with space for 10+ boat trailers and over 150 general parking spaces. Restrooms are available on-site for visitor use.

Beyond the boat launch, Ft. Washington Marina offers full-service amenities including gas and diesel fuel, pump-out facilities, ice, and laundry. The marina can accommodate boats up to 50 feet and maintains 200 slips with modern concrete floating docks. Paddlers and boaters will find this location ideal for accessing the Piscataway Creek system, which offers a relatively peaceful and undeveloped setting compared to busier Potomac River sections. Built in the 1820s, this bright yellow building was once the home of Fort Washington's commander. Today, it serves as the Visitor Center for Fort Washington Park. Inside you will find the park bookstore, a small museum, and two restrooms. The Visitor Center is staffed with Rangers ready to answer your questions.
