Gandy Wayside Park

Gandy Wayside Park offers excellent public access to Tampa Bay via the popular "Salty" Sol Fleishman public boat ramp, located off Gandy Boulevard in Pinellas County. This is one of the area's most heavily used launch facilities, featuring six wide ramp lanes and ample parking to accommodate multiple boats and trailers. The facility provides ideal access to the central portion of Tampa Bay, making it a convenient starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats exploring the bay's waters.

The ramp accesses Old Tampa Bay and the broader Tampa Bay estuary system, a large coastal water body offering diverse paddling opportunities.
