About This Access Site
Geiger Road offers public access to Lake Huron via a Michigan DNR hard-surface boat ramp in Sebewaing. This facility provides a straightforward launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats heading onto Michigan's largest Great Lake. The ramp is conveniently located near the village of Sebewaing, which offers shops, dining, and other services within walking distance.

**Important Note:** Access to this DNR-operated launch requires a Michigan Recreation Passport. The facility has 21 parking spaces; when parking is full, the ramp closes per DNR policy. Paddlers should arrive early during peak seasons and check conditions before launching, as Lake Huron's open waters can present significant wind and wave challenges. This access point works well for day trips and provides a solid launching point for exploring the Saginaw Bay area or open lake paddling.
