Gilbert Olson City Park offers a concrete boat ramp on the south branch of the Two Rivers in Hallock, providing reliable access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The ramp extends from the park's roundabout to the river and is well-suited for launching and retrieving vessels. The park itself is a full-service facility with 48 campsites (many with electrical hookups), showers, flush toilets, and a dump station—making it convenient for paddlers planning multi-day trips.
To reach the access point, turn east off Olson Memorial Highway onto Lilydale Road just east of I-35. The park's location on the south branch of the Two Rivers makes it an ideal put-in for flatwater paddling and fishing. Beyond the boat ramp, the park offers additional recreational amenities including a heated swimming pool, playground, and basketball courts. Note that nearby Harriet Island Park access is currently unavailable due to redevelopment.
