Gilsted Lake

Located on the south end of Gilstad Lake, about 5 miles south of Blackduck, this U.S. Forest Service public water access offers a concrete boat ramp suitable for launching boats up to 12-18 feet. The site includes parking for approximately 10 vehicles and an accessible fishing pier. There are no launch fees. The 256-acre lake has a maximum depth of 55 feet, making it suitable for various boating and paddling activities.

The access site includes fish habitat improvements (log cribs near the pier) designed to support shore fishing for largemouth bass, northern pike, and bluegill. To reach the site from Blackduck, head south on County Road 31 for 10 miles, then follow Forest Road 2207 east for one mile and continue two miles south on Forest Road 2236. Nearby Webster Lake Campground offers overnight camping options with 15 sites and additional trail access in the area.

Facilities
The Webster Campground offers 15 campsites, all available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No shower facilities on site, vault toilets located on inside of the loop across from beach access.
