The public boat ramp accommodates kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats (electric trolling motors only). If you don't have your own watercraft, Prescott Outdoors offers kayak and canoe rentals on-site during lake hours. A $3 per vehicle day-use fee applies. The lake is open year-round with seasonal hour variations, so check ahead before planning your visit.
The site offers solid amenities for a full day on the water and land, including restrooms, picnic tables and grills, large ramadas (available for reservation), fishing docks, and a scenic walking trail around the lake. Additional recreational options include playgrounds, sand volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits—great for mixed-use family trips. Note that swimming is not permitted in the lake.
