About This Access Site
Goodyear Lake is a 63-acre recreational lake in Rhinelander offering a public boat landing on the east side of Route 28. With a maximum depth of 7 feet, this shallow lake is ideal for kayakers and canoeists seeking calm, flat water paddling. The access site provides convenient entry for small watercraft, and there are over 15 miles of calm water to explore with no portages required.

Anglers will find Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, and Northern Pike in the lake. For those without their own equipment, Canoe & Kayak Rentals and Sales in Portlandville is conveniently located just a tenth of a mile north of the boat launch. The public landing makes this an accessible option for paddlers of all skill levels looking for relaxed lake paddling in the Rhinelander area.
