Gordon Lake is a 132-acre lake in Forest County, Wisconsin, offering public boat access via a dedicated boat ramp near Bonneval. With a maximum depth of 28 feet, the lake provides a moderate-sized paddling destination suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The lake supports populations of Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers.
The access site provides a public boat landing for launching kayaks, canoes, and other watercraft. Two reservable campgrounds are located within 10 miles—Laura Lake Campground and Morgan Lake Campground and Group Site—making it convenient for multi-day paddling trips. Paddlers should be prepared for a lake environment with varying depths and plan accordingly for wind and weather conditions typical of northern Wisconsin lakes.
