About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Granbury City Beach Park is conveniently located near the Granbury Dam on Lake Granbury. From US 377 east of Granbury, turn south on FM 4, then right on TX 167 and watch for park signs. The site is free and open year-round.

**Facilities & Amenities:** This established access point offers a boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and larger vessels, plus a fishing pier and courtesy dock. The park includes trailer parking, picnic areas, and restrooms. The location near the dam provides access to both the lake above the impoundment and the tailrace area below, offering different paddling experiences depending on your interests and skill level.

**Nearby Alternatives:** If Granbury City Beach is crowded or unavailable, the Brazos River Authority maintains several other ramps in the area, including Thorp Spring, Hunter Park, Rough Creek Park, and DeCordova Bend Park—all free and open year-round. This makes the Granbury area a good hub for exploring different sections of the Brazos River system.
