Located in Flower Mound near the mouth of Denton Creek on Lake Grapevine's western end, this boat ramp provides convenient access to one of the Dallas/Fort Worth area's premier paddling and fishing destinations. The site is situated within Lewisville Lake Park and serves as an ideal launch point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the lake's numerous coves and creek systems.
This access point offers a scenic setting well-suited for recreational paddling, bass fishing, and waterfowl activities in season. Day-use passes are required for parking in designated fee areas; these can be purchased via digital pay stations at the ramp, by phone, or through the Flowbird Parking App using credit or debit cards. City of Grapevine residents, seniors, disabled citizens, active military, and veterans qualify for discounted annual passes.
The ramp's location at the western end of Grapevine Lake provides access to Denton Creek and the broader lake system, with over 20 parks surrounding the water body. This makes it an excellent base for both short paddling excursions and longer explorations of the lake's recreational opportunities.
