About This Access Site
Grapevine Lake Point (North) provides boat ramp access on the western end of Grapevine Lake at the mouth of Denton Creek, making it an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Located in the Trophy Club area of Flower Mound in Denton County, this ramp is well-positioned for exploring the lake's northern waters and creek channels. The site is part of the larger Lewisville Lake Park system and offers day-use access to one of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex's premier recreation destinations.

Grapevine Lake is a substantial impoundment offering excellent conditions for recreational boating, paddling, and fishing. The 11 public access ramps maintained by the City of Grapevine provide convenient alternatives if water levels fluctuate. Paddlers should note the lake's location near DFW Airport and the surrounding urban development, which means expect moderate to busy conditions, especially on weekends. The area is known for bass fishing and seasonal waterfowl hunting, so plan your visit accordingly.
