About This Access Site
The Greater Bass Lake South access point offers convenient public boat launch facilities on this 244-acre Langlade County lake. The site features two paved boat launches and two courtesy docks, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats. The paved parking lot accommodates 17 vehicles and trailers, including one ADA-accessible stall. A daily launch fee of $10.00 (or $30.00 annual pass) is required per Wisconsin regulations.

Greater Bass Lake has a maximum depth of 25 feet, providing good water conditions for recreational paddling and fishing. The lake supports a healthy fish population including musky, panfish, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and walleye. This well-maintained access site is ideal for paddlers launching kayaks or canoes, with adequate parking and amenities to support a full day on the water.
