About This Access Site
Green Valley State Park offers excellent lake access for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters via four well-maintained boat ramps located around Green Valley Lake near Creston. The site includes dedicated parking areas near the ramps that can accommodate vehicles with trailers, including larger RVs and trucks. Additional amenities include accessible fishing piers and jetties, making this a multi-use recreation area suitable for various paddling and boating activities.

Paddlers should be aware of important operational restrictions on Green Valley Lake: boats must maintain no-wake speeds outside designated ski zones, and all vessels must operate at no more than five miles per hour within 100 feet of shore. Note that inboard motor boats (jet skis and jet boats) are prohibited on the lake. These regulations help maintain a safe, peaceful paddling environment. The lake supports a healthy fishery with walleye, bluegill, and channel catfish, so you may encounter anglers using the jetties and piers.
