This is a popular spot for kayakers, canoeists, and trout anglers looking to explore the river's tailwaters. The ramp is located adjacent to the Greers Ferry National Fish Hatchery, which helps stock the river with rainbow and brook trout.

Boaters and paddlers can also access Greers Ferry Lake, a large reservoir surrounded by numerous parks and recreation areas. The lake is a popular destination for fishing, swimming, and other water sports.

Facilities at the boat ramp include flush toilets, drinking water, and a trailer dump station.
