Grenada Dam

The Grenada Dam boat ramp provides access to the Yalobusha River in Grenada, Mississippi. This is a federal recreation area managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The boat ramp is located just off Highway 333, with easy access right after crossing the Yalobusha River bridge. There is a $5 fee to launch your boat or paddlecraft. The surrounding Grenada Landing area also includes a beach, pavilion, and primitive campground, which can be reserved through Recreation.gov for a $50 fee.

Paddlers and boaters should be aware that the Yalobusha River water levels can fluctuate significantly due to rainfall and dam operations. Check water level information before your trip, as the river may be too low or high for safe navigation at times. The river is generally a medium-sized waterway with moderate current, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorized boats.
