About This Access Site
The Grenada Landing boat ramp provides convenient access to Grenada Lake and the Yalobusha River. This federally-operated site includes a boat ramp, beach, and primitive campground. A $5 fee is required to launch boats at the ramp.

Grenada Lake is a large reservoir on the Yalobusha and Skuna Rivers, known for its excellent fishing and annual "Thunder on Water" festival in June. Water levels can fluctuate significantly, rising and falling as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages the lake. Paddlers and boaters should check current water levels before visiting.

The boat ramp is located just off Highway 333, with parking available nearby. Turn left (west) onto Main Street and the ramp will be on the right after crossing the Yalobusha River bridge. Other popular launching spots on the lake include the South Abutment Launch, Wolf Creek Ramp, and Hugh White Landing. Day use passes can be purchased to access the beach and boat ramp.
