About This Access Site
Griffing Park serves as the primary public access point to Pulaski Lake on Buffalo's southwest side. The site features a boat launch suitable for various watercraft, with gently sloping access and approximately 400 feet of lake frontage. The park is well-developed with amenities including a swimming beach, fishing pier, picnic areas, and shelters, making it a full-service recreation destination.

Paddlers and boaters have convenient options at this location. If you don't have your own equipment, the City of Buffalo Parks & Recreation Department rents kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, pontoons, and other boats seasonally (June through Labor Day). The calm, protected waters of Pulaski Lake make it suitable for kayakers and canoeists of various skill levels, and the accessible shoreline is ideal for launching small craft.
