About This Access Site
Located at the confluence of Dundee Creek and the Gunpowder River in Middle River, this 37.7-acre waterfront park offers convenient access to paddling on the Gunpowder River. The launch includes a dedicated boat ramp for larger vessels (fee applies) and a free soft launch for kayaks, canoes, and other car-top boats. The facility features ample trailer and car parking, a new comfort station with information center, and additional amenities including picnic areas, grills, nature trails, fishing piers, and playground equipment.

The site is well-suited for paddlers looking to explore the Gunpowder River system. Dundee Creek Marina nearby offers supplies including gas, pump-out service, fishing tackle, ice, and packaged foods for extended outings. Visitors should stay on designated trails and use caution in the area. With its woodland setting and proximity to multiple branches of the Gunpowder Falls, this access point serves as a good starting point for both casual paddling and river fishing. Maryland Golden Age Passes and other park passes are accepted; pavilion reservations are available for group gatherings.
