Half Moon Lake provides public boat access to the Mosinee Flowage, a 716-acre impoundment on the Wisconsin River in Marathon County. The ramp is conveniently located off River Road on the east side of the river, making it an accessible launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and larger boats.
