About This Access Site
**Current Status & Launch Conditions:** Haller Park's boat ramp is currently non-functional due to riverbank erosion that caused the ramp end to collapse. While the City of Arlington has indicated plans for future reconstruction, paddlers should not rely on this site as a launch point. The park itself offers amenities including restrooms, picnic areas, and river access via the shoreline, but launching kayaks or canoes from the bank is challenging.

**Alternative Access:** For boaters planning Stillaguamish River trips, the nearest functional dedicated boat ramp is located just downstream of the Bodel Bridge (Warm Beach-Stanwood Highway). This alternative would require a multi-day float from upper river sections. A rough, steep emergency takeout exists under I-5, though it is extremely difficult and not recommended for regular use.

**Park Amenities:** Despite the ramp closure, Haller Park remains a pleasant riverside location with restrooms, covered picnic areas, playground equipment, and a seasonal splash pad. The park provides good river access for fishing and wildlife viewing, making it a worthwhile stop even if launching a boat here isn't currently possible. Check with the City of Arlington for updates on ramp reconstruction timelines before planning a trip.
