Hancock Lake

Hancock Lake is a 259-acre public access lake located in Oneida County near Harshaw. The boat ramp provides convenient launch access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. With a maximum depth of 22 feet, the lake offers adequate depth for most recreational watercraft, though paddlers should be aware that water clarity is low, which may affect visibility.

The lake supports a healthy fishery including Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, and Panfish, making it popular with anglers as well as recreational paddlers.
