About This Access Site
This moderate-sized county access point features a cement boat ramp located on the north shoreline at the northwest end of Hanska Lake in Brown County. The ramp provides good launch access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore the lake's 21 miles of shoreline. The lake offers average water depths around 12 feet in the main basin, making it suitable for various watercraft and skill levels.

Paddlers will find additional amenities and access points at nearby locations, including a constructed channel (built in 1988) that connects the main lake to an adjacent basin near the campground area, offering exploration opportunities beyond the main water body. Fishing piers are available at multiple access points around the lake, including at Hanska County Park on the east end, making this a popular destination for both paddlers and anglers.
