Hantho Landing is a public boat ramp providing access to the Minnesota River at Lac qui Parle Lake near Appleton in Lac qui Parle County. The concrete ramp is maintained by the Renville County Park Department and accommodates both trailer launches and carry-in access for kayaks and canoes. This is one of the more popular sections of the Minnesota River for paddling and fishing, making it a convenient starting point for water recreation in the area.
Lac qui Parle Lake was constructed for flood control purposes and is well-known for its excellent fishing and waterfowl viewing opportunities. The landing provides access to a scenic area that attracts both recreational paddlers and anglers. As with all public water accesses in Minnesota, the site is open 24 hours unless posted otherwise.
