About This Access Site
Harbor View Public Boat Ramp provides convenient access to the scenic Ribault River in Jacksonville. The facility features two concrete launching lanes ideal for smaller boats and kayaks, along with floating and fixed courtesy docks to assist with loading and unloading. Amenities include a picnic shelter with tables, restrooms, a wheelchair-accessible fishing pier, and parking for approximately 6 boat trailers. The waterside setting makes it a straightforward put-in for paddlers exploring the river's salt marsh environment.

From this launch, paddlers can access approximately 3.25 miles of river to the Trout River confluence. Be aware of the Lem Turner Road bridge ahead, which has a vertical clearance of roughly 15 feet—evaluate your vessel's height before proceeding. The location is well-situated for accessing the lower Ribault River's coastal wetlands, and nearby attractions include the Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve and Fort Caroline National Memorial, making this an excellent base for both paddling and historic exploration.
