About This Access Site
Harms Park is a day-use boat ramp facility located on the north shore of Dorena Reservoir near Cottage Grove, offering convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The paved ramp sits at approximately 820 feet elevation and provides a staging point for exploring the scenic Row River and reservoir system. Amenities include paved parking, picnic tables, and vault toilets. Note that water levels can fluctuate seasonally—monitor conditions as exposed mudflats may appear when water drops below the ramp level.

From Harms Park, paddlers can explore the 14-mile Row River National Recreation Trail, which follows the scenic shoreline on a paved, multi-use path suitable for biking and hiking as well. The area offers good opportunities for a variety of water activities including boating and fishing. Nearby Schwarz Park and Baker Bay provide additional access points and day-use amenities around the reservoir loop. For those interested in camping, Sharps Creek Recreation Site (nearby Sharps Creek Campground) and Pine Meadows Campground are available with reservations through Recreation.gov.

To reach Harms Park from Cottage Grove, take Row River Road approximately 10 miles east, following signs toward Dorena Lake. There is no cell service in the area, so plan accordingly before arriving.
