About This Access Site
Located in Fayette, Ohio, Harrison Lake State Park provides convenient access to Mill Creek via a dedicated boat ramp on the south shore, accessed off County Road 27. The facility features one ramp with two launching lanes, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized vessels alike. Paddlers can also launch directly from the beach or watercraft rental areas if preferred. The park offers ample parking, restrooms, and amenities including a bait shop and fuel station.

The lake attracts anglers targeting largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and other species, and is characterized by relatively calm water with light motorboat traffic—ideal conditions for paddling. The area is surrounded by pine and oak trees, providing scenic paddling opportunities. Harrison Lake State Park also features a campground and boat/bike rentals if you're planning an extended visit. A small day-use fee applies for ramp access.
