Hastie Lake is an Island County park offering boat ramp access at the west end of the lake, with views overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the San Juan Islands. The facility provides a rock and sand beach, parking, and a non-commercial boat ramp. Note that the boat landing has been identified as extremely dangerous, so exercise caution when launching. The site also includes a viewpoint and access to approximately 0.5 miles of walkable public tidelands.
This location is well-positioned for paddlers and boaters exploring the Salish Sea region. Nearby attractions include Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve and Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge. If planning to stay overnight, Fort Casey Campground is located within 10 miles and accepts reservations through Washington State Parks.
