The Havasu Palms - Palms Marina boat ramp provides access to scenic Lake Havasu, a popular destination for kayakers, canoeists, and power boaters. The launch ramp is located within the Lake Havasu State Park and is one of four public boat ramps in the park.
The ramp is free to use and can accommodate a variety of watercraft, including those with propellers. Before launching, be sure to check that the facilities can handle your specific boat or kayak needs. Nearby, you'll find the Copper Basin Dunes OHV Area, which offers off-highway vehicle recreation, as well as the Bill Williams River, which is popular for fishing, kayaking, and rafting.
For paddlers, another good launch option is the Mesquite Bay Central site, which is designated specifically for canoes and kayaks. You can start your paddle at the Castle Rock launch and head south with the current to Mesquite Bay. Wherever you choose to launch, be sure to check the interactive map of Lake Havasu's public and private boat ramps to plan your trip.
