Hawkeye Wildlife Area

Located near Oxford in Johnson County, the Hawkeye Wildlife Area provides a concrete boat ramp and dock access to the Iowa River system. The facility features a double-lane concrete ramp with a gravel parking lot suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. A dock is available during summer and fall boating seasons, weather and water conditions permitting.
