**Access & Facilities**
Located near Oxford in Johnson County, this access site features a concrete boat ramp with a gravel parking lot suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto Hawkeye Wildlife Area waters. A dock is available seasonally (summer and fall) depending on water levels. The ramp may be inaccessible during high water conditions, so check current river stages before your trip.

The site provides access to water within the Hawkeye Wildlife Area, part of the broader Coralville Lake recreation area. Three reservable campgrounds are located within 10 miles—Linder Point, Sandy Beach, and Sugar Bottom—making this a convenient base for multi-day paddling trips. The surrounding area offers opportunities for wildlife viewing and day hikes along scenic Iowa River valley routes. Note that Amana Road near the area features gravel sections that may become impassable when wet, so plan your access route accordingly, especially during high water periods.
