Head O' Lakes Resort offers a full-service boat ramp and access point on the western end of Lake Vermilion near Cook, Minnesota. Located 8 miles from Cook on County Road 24 (Vermilion Drive), this resort facility provides a dedicated boat launch, dock access, and ample support services for boaters and paddlers. The resort is particularly well-suited for those planning multi-day trips, as it offers cabin rentals, a sandy beach, and a recreation building.

For kayakers and canoeists, the resort stocks rental canoes and kayaks on-site, making it convenient for paddlers without their own equipment. The facility also has motorized boat rentals available if needed. Additional amenities include a full-service marina with gas and oil, tackle and bait shop, and a swimming beach.
