Henry Sever Lake Conservation Area offers a well-developed public access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats on this 158-acre lake in Knox County, Missouri. The site features a concrete boat ramp for easy launching, along with a courtesy dock and fish-cleaning station. Note that outboard motors exceeding 10 horsepower are permitted but must operate at slow, no-wake speeds on the lake.
The conservation area provides excellent amenities for extended visits, including a free, 84-site campground with gravel pads, fire rings, and potable water on the east side of the lake. Additional facilities include disabled-accessible fishing docks, fishing jetties for bank anglers, and privies throughout the area. This makes Henry Sever Lake a good option for paddlers seeking a day trip with solid infrastructure or a multi-day camping excursion in a scenic Knox County setting.
